FEC Community – Social Purpose in Family Enterprise

February 10, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST

Does your family business have a social purpose? A social purpose business is an enterprise that supports creating a better world. It is an engine for good, creating societal benefits by the very act of conducting business. Its growth is a positive force in society. Businesses around the world are redefining their role in society to foster business and societal success. They are adopting a “social purpose” to navigate turbulent times and attract & engage top talent and customers.

To learn more about adopting a social purpose in your family business please join FEX and our family business community as we hear from Monika Marcovici, Social Purpose Strategist of the Social Purpose Institute United Way and from our panel, Karen Bichin, David Yochlowitz and Mike Yochlowitz of ABC Recycling. Our panel will dive into topics such as how do we incorporate social purpose initiatives into our own family enterprises? How do family businesses shift their culture to incorporate social purpose?
